Putri Ariani Releases New Song ‘Perfect Liar’
The new song “Perfect Liar” was written and composed by Putri herself. It’s a bittersweet ballad about moving on after a breakup. Putri goes from having her heart broken to deciding that she can love herself better than her ex.
“Now I know / When you said to me I love you / You are perfect liar,” Putri sings on the track’s soaring chorus, showing off the voice that took her to fourth place on AGT. “Don’t need to give anything / I can love myself better / Yes, I can love myself better.”
The song comes with a beautiful music video that shows Putri dressed all in white as she plays a piano in a sun-drenched field. The video, from Prestige Productions, was directed by Axel Valerian, with cinematography by Bona Sinaga.

Putri Finished Season 18 in Fourth Place
Before she competed on AGT earlier this year, Putri won Indonesia’s Got Talent when she was just 8 years old. Putri, who is blind, wowed the judges with her audition for Season 18, as she sang an original song and then covered Elton John’s “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.”
Simon Cowell was so impressed, he hit the Golden Buzzer to send Putri straight to the live shows. She returned in the Semifinals to perform a haunting rendition of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2.
Putri was voted into the Finals thanks to America’s vote. For her finale performance, she sang “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John. During the results, she teamed up with Leona Lewis to perform “Run” by Snow Patrol.
Although Putri didn’t win the season, she did finish the competition in fourth place, behind Murmuration, Anna DeGuzman, and Season 18 winner Adrian Stoica & Hurricane.
