There’s been lots of speculation as to who the America’s Got Talent semi-finals wildcard act would be. The quarter-finals had three wildcard spots, but the semis only have one. So, who got it?

Lukas & Falco Are Back On AGT As Wildcards

The dog act ended up on the bubble after their performance last week, and in the end they lost both the Dunkin’ Save and Judges’s Choice votes. But during the first semi-finals results episode it was announced they would be returning for the second week of the round.

Lukas and Falco have a fighting chance once again but can they win America’s Got Talent?

A lot of people were hoping Charlotte SummersSophie Pecora, or even Bir Khalsa would get that last semi-finals spot. I was fully expecting it to be Charlotte considering all the uproar after her elimination, but Lukas & Falco was a pretty logical choice. Like Charlotte and Sophie (along with the Emerald Belles) they were eliminated after being on the bubble – AKA after being up for the results show saves – so it seems fair they’d be chosen considering they were one of the eliminated acts who the voting public liked best.

But there’s one thing Lukas & Falco bring to the table that none of the other acts listed would have: variety.

The semi-finals had plenty of singing acts, a couple of dance acts, and even a danger act. But they didn’t have an animal act. In fact, Lukas & Falco were the only act in that category to even make it to the live shows this season.

Do Lukas & Falco have a good chance at making it to the finals? It’s very unlikely, but at least they’ll bring a fun change of pace to next week’s episode.
