‘AGT’ Alumni Aiko Tanaka, Taylor Williamson to Appear in Upcoming Comedy Show

America’s Got Talent season eight runner-up, comedian Taylor Williamson recently announced an upcoming comedy show, featuring a recent show alum. This show will feature special guest comedian, Aiko Tanaka seen on this season of AGT.


Everything to Know About the Upcoming Comedy Show

Earlier this season, fans noticed that AGT runner up Taylor Williamson is friends with recent competitor, Aiko Tanaka. The comedy duo began performing together earlier this in a set called “Japan Big Time” on YouTube and all podcast streaming networks. Later, Williamson and Tanaka performed at Mic Drop Comedy San Diego on June 19.

Following their appearance together, Williamson was seen in the audience for America’s Got Talent, probably to support Tanaka. Soon after his appearance it was announced that they would be performing together in the future. On November 11, Williamson and Tanaka will take the stage at Nissi’s Entertainment Venue in Lafayette, Colorado.


Audience members must be at least 21 years of age to attend the show. Tickets are now on sale for $25 to $30.

Who is Taylor Williamson?

Williamson is an experienced comedian who started performing stand-up comedy while he was a senior in high school. Having years of experience, he has got what it takes to make a room full of people laugh out loud.

His stand-up comedy routine mostly consists of personal experiences, family antics, and his overall awkwardness. His routine always makes the audience and judges die of laughter, especially Howie Mandel and Howard Stern. The comedian’s jokes were so good that they landed him in the America’s Got Talent season eight finale.


After finishing second place, the comedian got a major boost in popularity. His appearance in AGT has given him opportunities to perform multiple comedy shows around America. If you recognize this comdina, it’s probably because he returned to the stage for America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Aiko Tanaka’s Unforgettable AGT Journey

If you recognized this comedian, it’s probably because she was on the most recent season of America’s Got Talent. The comedian was known for performing stand-up comedy that focuses on her Japanese accent and the difficulties of speaking english, among other struggles. Her fun-loving personality helped her reach the semifinal round of the show.

During the semifinal round of AGT, Tanaka was not able to gain enough votes to enter the top 5, eliminating her from the competition. Her performance on AGT is very well received by the viewers online with one viewer commenting “she’s hilarious!! I would totally go see her show!”

Having two professional stand-up comedians perform on the same show will have people wanting to watch their show. Both Williamson and Tanaka plan to deliver performances that will have great reactions from their audience.
