‘AGT’ Alum Angelica Hale Takes Vocal Lessons From Cheryl Porter

America’s Got Talent alum Angelica Hale meets famous vocal coach Cheryl Porter for vocal lessons while driving. The 15 year old runner up of AGT is looking to fine-tune her already fantastic voice with tips from her new vocal coach.
Angelica Hale Perfects Her America’s Got Talent Audition Song
The Golden Buzzer recipient already made a big impact during her season 12 audition. Being only nine years old at the time, no one expected her insane singing voice. This audition truly shocked everyone who heard it. If you missed it, she sang the song “Rise Up,” by Andra Day on the show and still sings it to this day.
Hale’s incredible talent has lead to her insane legacy. One of the people impressed with her performance is none other than viral vocal coach Cheryl Porter, who did a reaction video breaking down the young singer’s audition.
“Listen to that voice. The confidence, the timbre, the intonation, she’s just projecting her whole heart to everybody.” Porter said.
Once the two finally met, they worked on vocal exercises and Hale’s iconic tune. This rendition is truly amazing, since the singer belted the tune out in carpool karaoke style. To this day, Hale is such an inspiration. As someone who didn’t have the easiest start in life, her will to pursue her dreams is one of a kind. She was only four years old, when she became infected with severe bacterial pneumonia.
Her Life After America’s Got Talent
Ever since her successful second-place finish on AGT, Hale continues to perform all over America. One notable appearance she made is in AGT Las Vegas Live Shows as well as multiple NFL games. All of these achievements are unheard off from someone who’s only 15 years old.
Her social media has also seen a massive boost in popularity, recently achieving a YouTube milestone. She has also successfully released several singles on Spotify but no album as of yet. She also shows support for organizations such as the National Kidney Foundation, having experienced what it’s like to survive a transplant.
She’s even made her appearance on film in her debut movie American Reject, which was filmed four years ago. To have accomplished this much at such a young age leaves you wondering what is next for this gifted young girl.
