Entire Tracklist For Drake’s ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ Releasing Tonight At 12

For all the Drake lovers out there, the rapper is at it again, this time with another special project. A 14 track mixtape is set to be released tonight with some features from music’s biggest names. The confirmed tracklist is circulating around Twitter and we are freaking out. Take a look at the tracks below.
The Features On This Tape Are Something To Look Forward To
Playboi Carti is definitely having a big day today. The rapper just reportedly welcomed a baby with rapper Iggy Azalea. Now he is to be featured on this tape in the song “Pain 1993.” Future is featured on two songs “Desires” and “D4L” along with rapper Young Thug. The song “Desires” was already previewed on Drake’s Instagram back in January. The song has yet to be released but it makes sense now because Drake has been waiting for his big night.
Drake has literally just confirmed that the speculation about this tape is true. However, people noticed that some of the song titles from the rumored tracks had already popped up on the app Shazam. This was already a sign that the rumors are true and that the tape was going to be released tonight.

The Tape Is A Preview To Drake’s Next Album
Drake’s last album Scorpion was released in 2018 and saw major success. It topped the US Billboard 200 and the song “God’s Plan” in particular was an absolute smash success. It even won a Grammy for Best Rap Song. So this tape is really going to set the tone for his next album. Again, to be clear, he is not releasing an album, but merely a tape of some new collaborations and some old songs that are super popular. “Tootsie Slide” is just one of the iconic songs that is going to be featured on the tape. You cannot scroll on TikTok without seeing someone dancing to this song. “Chicago Freestyle” and “When to Say When” are also previous tracks that will be featured on the tape.
Drake Fans Are Super Excited For This Project To Drop
Drake has a huge fanbase so naturally everyone is hype to see their favorite rapper come out with some new songs. Twitter is obviously freaking out about it.
“A new Drake tape just what this quarantine calls for,” said one fan on Twitter.
One person even joked that the symbol from Drake’s OVO clothing line will be shown in the sky.
He also just posted the following Instagram post with the caption: “My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together a lot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight…also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6 😈 soon fwd.”
His album will be dropping in Summer so be on the lookout for that for sure.
