Fox’s New Show ‘The Four: Battle For Stardom’ Promises To Make An International Star

One thing about these talent competition shows that we cover is that they don’t always produce the biggest stars. Sure, sometimes you get a Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, but a lot of times the winners on these shows are soon forgotten. The Four promises to make a huge international star out of its winner.
The premise of The Four is that it begins where other shows end. They start out with four finalists and then every week another singer comes on to try and take their spot. Their point as far as making a star is that they already have the top talent to begin with and that this should translate into international stardom. Which is really something you can’t control for. People are either going to respond long term to an artist or not. Judges Diddy and DJ Khaled can try all they want there is no way to assure that.
Still, it’s going to be interesting to see if they can do what they say they can do where other shows have failed.
