Actor Paul Rudd is the latest celebrity to pay a visit to the Art of Play store in Brooklyn. Earlier this month, The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson had a tense back-and-forth with the store on social media over her own experience there.

Paul Rudd Visits Store Feuding with Kelly Clarkson

According to E! News, Paul Rudd was spotted outside the Art of Play store on Wednesday, October 21. Rudd was photographed wearing a casual outfit with a black hoodie, peeking through the shop’s window. It’s not clear if he actually went inside.

Kelly Clarkson’s interaction with the store went viral earlier this month after she posted about the experience on X (formerly Twitter). Clarkson called the shop out by name and claimed she “was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it.”

It was soon revealed that Clarkson had sought to purchase Molly, a “singing and dancing bird automaton” which is not for sale. Security footage of the incident leaked a few days later, showing a brief interaction between Clarkson and an employee at the store.

Fans on X had plenty to say about Paul Rudd’s recent visit to Art of Play. As one user joked, “He said lemme see what this is all about.” Another user responded with the quip, “Well yeah, it’s a curiosity shop.”

One user actually suggested that Rudd only visited the store “for the paparazzi photo,” calling the comedic actor “king of the bit.” Someone else referenced Rudd’s Marvel superhero character, calling it the “type of stuff the Avengers would task Ant-Man with.”
