Britain’s Got Talent Auditions Canceled

Britain’s Got Talent is once again filming auditions for Series 20 in Blackpool, England, at the Winter Gardens entertainment complex. According to the ticketing website ApplauseStore, auditions which were originally scheduled between October 6 and October 11 have been canceled.

Fans who had tickets for one of those dates have been encouraged to request tickets for one of the rescheduled tapings, which will apparently take place on January 6 and 7, 2027. A reason has not been given for this schedule change.

Filming will now officially begin on Monday, October 12, with tapings lined up through October 16. As of this writing, all of the October dates are fully booked, and the January dates are listed as having limited availability.

Simon Cowell Will Miss Some Auditions

It was already announced that judge Simon Cowell would have to miss several of the Britain’s Got Talent Series 20 audition tapings as he recovers from back surgery. Cowell was previously absent for the America’s Got Talent live shows this season. In the finale, he was replaced by his BGT co-star KSI.

It was recently reported that Cowell would be replaced on the BGT panel by English TV presenter Bradley Walsh, who will sit alongside regular judges KSI, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon. Walsh is the host of a British game show called The Chase, and he also played the character of Graham O’Brien on Doctor Who.
