America’s Got Talent Season 20 runner-up Chris Turner is officially returning to the show’s stage this Wednesday night on NBC. The comedian and freestyle rapper will be a guest performer on this week’s live Semifinals results show.
Chris Turner made it to the Finals of AGT Season 20 last year with his funny freestyle rap routine, in which he took suggestions from the judges, audience members, and even viewers at home. Turner ended up finishing the competition in second place, behind winner Jessica Sanchez.
AGT recently announced that Turner will be returning to the show’s stage this Wednesday night. He’ll be appearing as a guest performer during the Semifinals results show, in which host Terry Crews will officially announce the Season 21 finalists based on America’s vote.
Turner reposted the announcement on his Instagram stories earlier this week, writing to his fans, “See you all on Wednesday!!!!” The comedian currently has several tour dates lined up throughout the rest of the year, starting on October 1.

The Season 21 Finale Is Next Week
On Wednesday night’s live results show, we’ll find out which Season 21 contestants will follow in runner-up Chris Turner’s footsteps and make it to the AGT Finals, which will air next week over two nights, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Four contestants went straight into the finale during the Quarterfinals after receiving the Golden Buzzer from one of the judges. Those acts are magic group Hundred Fingers, guitarist Nene Royal, singer Lai Noelle, and robot act Unitree.
