Dancing with the Stars Season 35 will premiere next week over two nights on ABC and Disney+. Ahead of the new episodes, the dance styles and song choices for each couple’s first routine have been revealed.
DWTS Season 35 Premiere Songs, Dance Styles
On Thursday, a DWTS fan on X (formerly Twitter) shared a list of the dance styles and songs each couple will be performing in the premiere, based on information revealed during a recent episode of the show’s official podcast. Premiere performances will be divided by gender, with male celebrities dancing on Tuesday and female celebrities on Wednesday.
On Tuesday night, Ezra Frech and his partner Danielle Karagach will perform a cha-cha to “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. Also dancing a cha-cha are Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, to “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind & Fire; and Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls.
And the cha-chas keep coming, as the dance style will also be tackled by Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson, to “Mr. Big Stuff” by Jean Knight; as well as Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold, to “I Like It, I Love It” by Tim McGraw.
Meanwhile, Taylor Hanson and his partner Britt Stewart will be dancing a quickstep to “Tell Her About It” by Billy Joel. Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman are performing a salsa to “Whoomp! (There It Is)” by Tag Team. And finally for the men’s night, Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess are dancing a tango to “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz.

What Will the Women Be Dancing on Night 2?
On Wednesday night, the female celebrities will make their debut in the DWTS ballroom. Julia Stiles and her partner Ezra Sosa will be dancing a quickstep to “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton, while Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik will take on a jive to “Knock on Wood” by Amii Stewart.
Also dancing a jive this week are Sarah Jane Nader and her partner Hailey Bills, to “Sk8er Boi” by Avril Lavigne. Meanwhile, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov are dancing a cha-cha to “Smooth” by Santana; and Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas will perform a foxtrot to “Black Velvet” by Alannah Myles.
Also performing a foxtrot in the premiere are Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong, to “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” by Whitney Houston. Wednesday’s show will also feature two tango routines — from Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, to “Call Me” by Blondie; as well as Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten, to “Venus” by Shocking Blue.
