It was recently announced that pro dancer Sharna Burgess will be returning to the ballroom for Dancing with the Stars Season 35. Although her celebrity partner has not been confirmed yet, Burgess teased that she’s “incredibly happy” with the pairing.

Sharna Burgess Teases DWTS Season 35 Partnership

So far, the only celebrity-pro partnership which has been confirmed for Season 35 of DWTS is that pro Witney Carson will be dancing with Jimmy Kimmel Live! sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez. However, Sharna Burgess teased her own partnership in a recent interview.

“I feel that if I say a single thing, I’m gonna give it away,” Burgess told Extra about her DWTS Season 35 partner. “I just know that I am incredibly happy. A wonderful human being that I’m dancing with, an amazing student. Honestly, everything I could wish for in my return to the ballroom this year. I’m so grateful.”

Burgess won the show in Season 27 with Bobby Bones, but she hasn’t competed since Season 30, when she danced with her real-life partner Brian Austin Green. During her time away from the show, she and Green welcomed a son named Zane in 2022.

Burgess Is Excited to Return to the Ballroom

Sharna Burgess told Extra that the five years she was away from the DWTS ballroom “went in the blink of an eye,” adding, “I gotta say, stepping back into it, it feels like I never left. It’s always gonna feel like home.”

Burgess shared that she and the show had “floated the idea” of her returning last season, but she “wasn’t ready at that point.” As she explained, her son wasn’t in school yet at the time. However, in December of last year, she decided that she wanted “dance back in my life in abundance.”
