American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips, who recently finished The Masked Singer in second place, has released a new single called “Let’s Go Far.” The singer also has an EP in the works, and he’s going on tour later this year.
Phillip Phillips Releases New Single ‘Let’s Go Far’
Phillip Phillips recently released a new single called “Let’s Go Far.” This is his second release of 2026, following the song “Homesick,” which he put out after his time competing on The Masked Singer Season 14.
The singer told ABC Audio that the show was a “jump start” for him to release more music, explaining, “I’ll just write music and not release it and just be at home, be with my family. Like, that’s just me.” He decided he wanted to “get the career back on track a little bit.”
Phillips is planning to release a new EP, titled Let’s Go Far: Vol. 1, on September 4. He shared that his new music is “about what’s been going on in my life, even dealing with some things from my past,” adding that “it’s been very vulnerable to be able to do that.”
“Life is changing / It can get so hard / We’ve all got something raging / We’ve all got our battle scars,” Phillips sings on the new track. “When the walls start caving / Can you hear my heart? / So let’s find new places / With a brand new start / Let’s go far.”
Phillips recently announced his “Let’s Go Far” tour, which kicks off September 10 in Dallas. He’ll be visiting a number of cities around the country into November of this year, with special guests Elias Hix, Katie Lynn Sharbough, and Briscoe.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now on Phillips’ website, which also lists which dates will feature which supporting acts. The singer shared that he chose to play “smaller venues” for the sake of “easing back into it,” adding, “I’ve really gotten picky on how long I want to be gone on the road and away from my family.”
