Dancing With the Stars Season 35 is expected to premiere this fall with a brand new celebrity cast. Among this cast is Jimmy Kimmel Live! star, Guillermo Rodriguez.

Guillermo Rodriguez Joins Dancing With the Stars Season 35

Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick 55 year old Guillermo Rodriguez is waltzing into the ballroom this fall. The comedian will be going from Late Night to the ballroom this fall as revealed on June 17.

On Wednesday Night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel announced Rodriguez on the show. The sidekick then ran on to the stage in salsa attire.

“This is going to be so great. Don’t lose a single adorable pound. Okay, do you promise?” Kimmel jokingly said to Guillermo.

“I promise if I lose five pounds I’m going to gain ten pounds,” Guillermo replied, before Kimmel wished him luck.

Who is Guillermo Rodriguez?

Rodriguez first joined Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2003 and has remained a staple ever since. He originally worked as a security guard in the show’s parking lot and has since made the change to being a featured star on the late night show. He often serves as a correspondent on the Oscars red carpet and regularly participates in comedy bits.

The celebrity earned his United States citizenship in 2005 and has recently launched a hot sauce brand. His hot sauce brand is called “Guillermo’s Salsa.” It can be found primarily at ShopRite, Costco, Price Chopper, and Tops Friendly Markets in the Northeast and Southeast regions.

Rodriguez is among the announced stars waltzing into the ballroom this fall. Other celebrity competitors include Summer House star Ciara Miller, Love Island star Maura Higgins, and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olsen. The full cast of Dancing With the Stars will be announced on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 2.
