Dancing With The Stars is set to have their first ever convention this summer in California. With the convention beginning next month, here’s everything to expect.

Dancing With The Stars Con 2026 Set in Palm Springs This Summer

The first-ever Dancing With The Stars convention is set to begin in Palm Springs on July 31, 2026. The event will bring together professional dancers, celebrity contestants, and fans of the series during the three day event.

According to Emma Slater and Alan Bersten, this convention is “designed for everyone, from longtime viewers who have followed the show since its early seasons to newer fans discovering the ballroom competition.”

The convention is set to feature a variety of activities on each day. The first day will kick off with “Glitter Games,” an interactive game-show style event featuring pros, celebrities and fans. On Saturday, fans can expect a showcase of live dance performances, including special performances from former celebrity and professional pairs. Finally, on Sunday, fans will be given the opportunity to rehearse with pros, and get the full ballroom experience to perform in front of the audience.

The weekend will also feature dance classes, panel discussions, and interactive activities. The organizers of the event also plan to showcase iconic costumes, and memorabilia from the series. Potentially including recreated ballroom spaces inspired by the show.

The Dancing With The Stars Con is Completely New

Even though Dancing With The Stars has been on air since 2005, the show has done a great job of evolving with the times. The show, in present day, is still one of the biggest in the world. The creation of the convention strives to bring together all fans of Dancing With The Stars, whether fans were able to attend the DWTS tour, or not.

“We’ve toured around the country, but we’re usually only in one place for a day,” Bersten said about the DWTS Con. “This gives fans a chance to spend an entire weekend with us and really experience what Dancing with the Stars is all about.”

The professional dancers admitted that this event is the first time fans will actually get to be apart of something. Though fans are able to vote during the show’s season, they’re never fully apart of the performance. Even at the show’s tour, fans once again are just watching the performances.

“Fans can dance with us, play games with us and even become part of the show,” Slater said.

According to the professional dancers, Palm Springs is the perfect location for the convention, since the show often embodies Coachella Valley’s energy and enthusiasm. Dancing With The Stars Con 2026 is scheduled for July 31 to August 2, 2026 in Palm Springs, California. For all tickets, be sure to check out their website.
