Dylan Efron Suffers Broken Nose During ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Rehearsals

Dancing with the Stars Season 34 contestant Dylan Efron recently updated fans with the news that he broke his nose while rehearsing for this week’s show with his partner Daniella Karagach. Efron posted a few photos and videos from his trip to the hospital on Instagram.
Dylan Efron Breaks Nose During DWTS Rehearsals
Over the weekend, Dylan Efron posted a photo of himself sitting in the hospital, holding an ice pack to his nose as he smiled for the camera with a thumbs-up gesture. As he wrote in the post’s caption, “Broke my nose, but don’t need it to dance.”
“It’s midnight, and I’m at the hospital, because Dani broke my nose,” Efron can be heard saying in a video clip. “We were trying a new move, and I took an elbow right here. It made a really loud crack, so… Not how I wanted to end the rehearsal day, but we’ll be back dancing tomorrow.”
Efron made it clear in the post’s caption that he’s “seriously all good,” adding that his partner Daniella Karagach, her husband and fellow pro Pasha Pashkov, and Pashkov’s Season 34 partner Danielle Fishel stayed by his side after the injury. Efron wrote that it “warms my heart to have friends like them.”
This week, Efron and Karagach are set to perform a Viennese waltz to “Can’t Help Falling in Love (DARK)” by Tommee Profitt and Brooke for Halloween Night. The episode will air Tuesday night on ABC and Disney+.

Fellow Contestants, Pros Reacted to Efron’s Post
Dylan Efron received an outpouring of love and concern from his Dancing with the Stars family in the comments of his Instagram post. Pro Emma Slater wrote, “WHAT?!! @dylanefron hope you’re ok!” Efron responded that he was “already back and practicing.”
Another pro, Val Chmerkovskiy, commented simply, “Oh em gee.” Fellow Season 34 contestant Robert Irwin wrote, “What!!!!! Feel better mate.” Pros Jan Ravnik and Mark Ballas also chimed in. Ravnik wrote, “Feel better soon!!” Ballas told Efron, “I hope you’re ok brother. sending you love.”
Today reports that Efron later updated fans in an Instagram story, thanking everyone for “all the kind messages” and adding that he is “truly okay.” He included a selfie from the rehearsal room, writing that he and Karagach were “back practicing and giving 100.”
