The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is set to host a new four-part series on NBC titled Songs & Stories. The hourlong episodes will feature conversations between Clarkson and some of her favorite artists, including the Jonas Brothers and Lizzo.

Kelly Clarkson to Interview Artists in New Series

The four-episode NBC series Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson will air on four consecutive Tuesdays this summer — August 19, August 26, September 2, and September 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes of the series will also be available to stream on Peacock the following day.

The series will feature conversations between Clarkson and four of her fellow musical artists — Gloria Estefan, the Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, and Teddy Swims. This concept originated on Clarkson’s talk show, where she previously interviewed artists such as Babyface, Miranda Lambert, Alanis Morissette, and P!NK.

“The conversations are a front-row pass for Kelly Clarkson to engage with some of her favorite celebrities and examine both their music and personal lives,” reads a press release from NBC. “The specials are a forum where iconic voices meet heartfelt storytelling through unfiltered conversation and sung in an intimate, unplugged setting.”

Clarkson Is Also Returning to The Voice

Clarkson has been a busy woman these days. In addition to performing a residency in Las Vegas through November of this year, it was also recently announced that the singer is returning as a coach on The Voice for Season 29.

The new season, premiering next spring, will also feature veteran coaches Adam Levine and John Legend. The show is trying out a new format for this season, with only three coaches instead of the usual four. The season will also feature new twists, including the return of past contestants.

In the meantime, Season 28 of the show is due to premiere September 22 on NBC, featuring coaches Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Michael Bublé.
