America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League has shared another promo for the upcoming season, this time focusing on the judges’ teams. The clip gives fans a sneak peek at which acts will be working with which judge when the show premieres January 1 on NBC.
AGT: Fantasy League Promo Teases Judges’ Teams
AGT: Fantasy League is similar to Champions and All-Stars, in that it features returning acts from Got Talent shows around the world. However, this spin-off also allows the judges to choose acts for their dream teams and mentor them throughout the competition.
A new promo for the show gives fans a glimpse of the Fantasy League Draft, in which the judges chose which acts they wanted for their teams. Host Terry Crews explained that each judge chose 10 acts for their team, adding up to 40 in total.
The judges can be seen taking turns choosing acts for their teams. The video also shows some clips of the judges watching their acts rehearse before their performances. Simon Cowell points out that there are “two competitions going on this season” — between the acts, and between the judges.
This season also feature the Golden Buzzer, which will allow the judges to steal acts from each other. The season trailer teased that Howie Mandel will use the buzzer to steal one of Heidi Klum’s acts.
