Britney Spears appears to have shown her support for her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ recent run on Dancing with the Stars. However, Britney deleted the post not long after she made it. Jamie Lynn was eliminated from DWTS Season 32 in the second week.
Britney Spears Shows Support for Sister Jamie Lynn on DWTS
Jamie Lynn was paired with pro dancer Alan Bersten for Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars earlier this year. The pair was eliminated during the second week of the competition, on Latin Night, after earning a score of 16 out of 30 for their Cha Cha.
According to Page Six, Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney posted a photo from her time on the show to Instagram Sunday, along with the caption, “I’m so proud of my sister! She did so good on Dancing with the Stars!”
It might seem like odd timing for the pop star to comment on her sister’s DWTS run over two months after her elimination. However, Jamie Lynn did return to the ballroom last week to perform with the other eliminated stars during the season finale.
Unfortunately, Britney’s public support for her sister was short-lived. The Instagram post has since been deleted. A source recently told Page Six of the pair’s complicated relationship, “They are speaking.”
