Adam Lambert Does Cher Impression on That’s My Jam
Wheel of Musical Impressions challenges guests to sing a song in the style of a different artist. In this case, Lambert was tasked with singing “The Muffin Man” as Cher. The star totally understood the assignment.
Lambert ended up singing about the Muffin Man on Drury Lane to the tune of Cher’s hit song “Believe,” topping it all off with a spot-on Cher impression. As host Jimmy Fallon said to Lambert after the performance, “How do you do that?”
As Today points out, this isn’t Lambert’s first time taking on Cher’s discography. In 2018, he sang “Believe” as a ballad during the Kennedy Center Honors. The performance brought Cher to tears, and she later tweeted about how touched she was.

Other songs on the album include “Ordinary World” by Duran Duran, “Getting Older” by Billie Eilish, “Sex on Fire” by Kings of Leon, and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” by Culture Club. Lambert’s last original solo album, titled VELVET, was released in 2020.
Starting this October, Lambert and the rock band Queen are bringing their Rhapsody tour back to North America. Lambert has been performing with Queen for over a decade, since 2011. The singer previously finished in second place on Season 8 of American Idol in 2009.
