Iconic Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, recently appeared on the hit singing competition show, The Masked Singer, under the disguise of Doll. Even though Snider was eliminated early on in the competition, he still enjoyed the experience and reflects on his time on the show.

Dee Snider Was Initially Skeptical of The Show’s Success

Participating in the show was much more challenging than Snider anticipated. The rigorous rehearsal process, combined with the disorienting doll costume, made it a difficult experience. Despite the challenges, Snider loved every moment of it.

Initially, Snider was skeptical about The Masked Singer‘s concept and turned down an offer to participate in the first season. However, after seeing the show’s success, he decided to join in on the fun.

“I had a blast on The Masked Singer,” Snider said. “I hope that by taking this chance, I’ve encouraged others to do the same and take risks in their own lives. You never know what might happen.”

Looking back on his time on The Masked Singer, Snider is proud of what he accomplished. He hopes that his participation has encouraged others to step out of their comfort zones and take chances. Snider’s legacy goes far beyond his impressive vocal abilities and stage presence. His willingness to speak out and use his platform for good has made him an inspiring figure in the music industry.

Dee Snider Talks About His Next Career Move

Snider has been writing screenplays and books for over 30 years. Now he is taking his career to the next level by directing his first feature film, My Enemy’s Enemy. He is also publishing his first fictional novel, Frats, which has a release date on May 22.

Additionally, a graphic novel titled He’s Not Going To Take It, which covers the Senate hearings in the ’80s and delves into Snider’s personal story, is set to be released in June. Snider says that he is now looking to get more behind the camera and do more writing, as that is where his passion lies.

As Snider prepares to take on these new challenges, he’s excited to see where his career will take him. He hopes to inspire others to follow their passions and take chances, just as he has throughout his career.
