Chris Brown Surprises Audience With “No Air” Performance Featuring Jordin Sparks

15 years ago, Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown released a 2008 hit song in the title of “No Air.” Fans of Brown were able to relive the song’s magic during his Las Vegas stop on the Of Them Ones Tour. Audience members got chills as they embarked in the nostalgia during the incredible live performance.
Jordin Sparks Posted a Video Snippet of Their Performance
On August 28, American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks posted a fragment of their performance and expressed her gratitude for Brown for making her special appearance happen.
“15 YEARS LATER: Chris Brown and I returned to the stage to perform ‘No Air’,” she wrote. “Thank you Chris for having me at the final stop of your ‘One of Them Ones’ tour, ended it with a bang in Vegas!!!”
Sparks ended the post acknowledging that the crowd was into their performance. She noted that they were screaming each word of the iconic song throughout the performance.
Soon after Sparks shared the video to social media, entertainment industry professionals and fans of the singer commented on the post. They all expressed their glee and amusement over their on-stage reunion. TV and filmer producer Debra Chase and Actress Yvette Nicole Brown were among the professionals commenting on the post.
Loads of fans also signified their appreciation for the reunion, calling it “iconic” and “legendary.” Fans who were not in the audience went hysterical on Twitter after finding out about the moment.
What Made this Reunion Epic?
Composed by James Fauntleroy II, Harvey Mason Jr., Steve Russell, Erik Griggs and Damon Thomas, ‘No Air’ was a certified platinum. Ultimately, this song was a sizable element to Sparks’ popularity during the 2000s, after winning American Idol.
In addition, “No Air” collaboration has been recognized in a number of territories around the globe, hailing Sparks to be the first ever American Idol winner to have sold more than three million digital copies of a single.
Everybody has probably heard and jammed to this song, one way or any other. Sparks owned this song the moment she and Brown released it. 15 years later, she came back to prove that “No Air” is still a huge hit. Although the performance may be short, this epic moment successfully convinced us that “No Air” is an R&B classic we need to hear more often today.
