‘The Voice’ Cross Battles: Kelly Clarkson Sneaks Into Blake Shelton’s Dressing Room To Do This

The Voice live cross battles kicked off on Monday night, and Kelly Clarkson marked the occasion by sneaking into Blake Shelton’s dressing room. The show’s undefeated coach is trying to mess with the six-time winner as the competition heats up.
Kelly posted a video on Twitter in which she shows off the trophy she received for winning last season with Chevel Shepherd. “I just thought, maybe Blake forgot,” she said. “Maybe he forgot how awesome I am.”
Kelly Sneaks Into Blake’s Trailer
So what did Kelly do? Obviously she went into Blake’s trailer and left the trophy next to the Cheetos. “I’m just gonna leave my award in here,” she said. “And be like, ‘Oh, they must have put my award in your trailer. But I’ll take it back, since I won and you didn’t.'”
Blake didn’t respond to the video on Twitter, but The Voice did reply to Kelly saying, “We are so obsessed with this friendly competition.”
Which Coach Will Win This Season?
Kelly may be undefeated, and Blake has the most wins of any of the coaches, but who really has the strongest team so far? Talent Recap posed the question on Instagram, and commenters seemed to agree that Kelly and Adam are in the best shape going into the cross battles.
Kelly has a pretty big advantage with Jej Vinson on her team. The singer turned all four coaches’ chairs and has received a lot of viral attention since his audition. She also has the show’s first-ever trio on her team, and recently added another male singer, Matthew Johnson, to balance things out.
However, Blake might have the strategy to be an underdog. He’s won twice before with non-country artists, and just stole two artists from other genres during the battles this season. He might also be ready to get payback against Kelly, as he challenged her to go against him in the first round of cross battles.
We’re just waiting to see if Blake responds to Kelly’s prank by lining up his six trophies in her dressing room.
