Is Snoop Dogg Getting into Hot Dogs? Rapper Files Trademark for Brand Name

It’s very possible that Snoop Dogg will be entering a new business in hot dog sales in 2022. This famous rapper is known mostly for his music, but has ventured into business as well. He has credits for his liquor line, Indoggo Gin, a cannabis line, and even a cookbook with Martha Stewart.
Snoop Dogg is always full of surprises. This aspect of his persona is what makes it so fun to keep up with him. It’s never just a new song, there’s always something else. Most recently, Snoop Dogg’s attorneys applied for a trademark of “Snoop Dogs” through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His attorney’s noted intention for trademark as hot dog and other kinds of sausage sales. The rapper himself practically confirmed the news on Instagram when resharing a post about the trademark.
Snoop Dogg Hates Hot Dog How It’s Made Video
Fans believe that Snoop Dogg’s latest business scheme is a result of a 2016 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live that the rapper guest starred on. On Jimmy Kimmel Live the rapper is on a segment called Howz it Mizzade With Snoop Dogg. Kimmel shows the rapper a video of something in a factory. Snoop Dogg then guesses what the final product is. While on this show, the rapper learned how hot dogs are made in factories.
“This is hot dog?! Aw cuz I ain’t never eating a motherf*cking hot dog cuz,” Snoop Dogg said. “Everytime I see a motherf****r with a hot dog on his plate at a barbecue, I’m knocking that s**t out his hands. If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.”
At the end of the video, the rapper puts his head on the table. He is clearly in disgust from how hot dogs are made.
Will Snoop Doggs Have Vegan or Vegetarian Options?
Since the video publication of this video over two million people have seen it. Fans of the rapper applauded him for bringing awareness to the fact that hot dogs are not appetizing. They have been urging him to create a more appealing alternative ever since.
Many fans are wondering if Snoop Dogg will be creating an alternative to meat based hot dogs for Snoop Doggs. In 2020, the rapper was open about incorporating more vegan and vegetarian options into his diet after investing in Beyond Meat. Considering the trademark application specifically includes the terms hot dog and sausage, I’d say Snoop Doggs will be a meat creation. As of right now it doesn’t seem as if the rapper plans to make a “beyond” version of hot dog yet.
