JoJo Siwa Says Kylie Prew is Still Her Best Friend
The couple had been best friends for over a year before they started dating and are now back to that point. From their monthly Instagram posts to hearing JoJo gush about Kylie, it’s obvious that their time together was filled with plenty of happy memories. Consdiering they have such a strong love for one another, it doesn’t surprise me that they remain as friends.
“I was very happy that it can be, because that’s all I wanted. But I’m really happy that I remember all the fun times, all the good times, and nothing bad happened,” said JoJo. “It just is the definition of a cheesy saying of ‘right person, wrong time’ and I hate cheesy sayings, but they’re true.”
JoJo made sure to throw in that she’s okay amid the break up. Her hectic schedule and age were contributing factors to the split in their relationship. Kylie and JoJo are both 17 and 18 years old respectively, so it can be tough maintain a relationship throughout your teens. It’s unfortunate but young couples splitting because of busy schedules happen on the daily.
Since the break up, JoJo has taken the time to learn about her mental health and what really makes her happy. She stated that her mind is opening and she’s growing as an after effect of the break up.
Up until this point, JoJo had been taking the time to heal before publicly speaking on the private matter. JoJo respectfully chose not to acknowledge a question about her relationship in an interview on Grease Night. She did not confirm nor deny the split, instead talked about her mental health. JoJo also spoke on how her dance partner, Jenna Johnson has acted as a big sister to her throughout the grieving process.
