Fan favorite coach of The Voice, Usher, has been busy at work these days. He currently headlines a residency in Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. This is also the first headlining show to open in Vegas in over a year.

The long-standing performer couldn’t be happier for this new opportunity among other life blessings. Usher is also awaiting the arrival of his fourth child with girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea. Life is going full speed ahead for the Grammy winner, and it’s not about to slow down anytime soon.

Usher’s Las Vegas Residency Sells Out

On July 16 and 17, the global superstar took the stage with back to back sold out shows. The ’90s R&B legend provided audiences with all his classic hits, earning one standing ovation after the other. The first Las Vegas residency to premiere on the strip in over a year, drew in a VIP crowd. Jermaine Dupri, L.A. Reid, Nick Cannon, Lil Jon, and Akon, were among some of the A-listers in attendance.

“I was really overwhelmed,” Usher admits in an interview with ET. “One, looking out in the audience to see my fans, but to have my actual family here with me, my mother was in the house, my children were there, my agents were there, managers, old and new, accountants, lawyers, all of the people who have been a part of this incredible process of transition were there… and I’m like, ‘Man, we made it and we’re back open.'”

The multi-talented Grammy winner sang a variety of songs that span his decades long career. “U Remind Me,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna…,” “Don’t Waste My Time,” “Scream,” and “Yeah!” were some of the hits he delivered. Accompanied by a live band and over two dozen dancers, this is a once-in-a-life time chance to see the world class performer in action. The 4,300 seat venue supports all the special moments and surprises Usher has in store for us all.

Aside from spectacular singing and dancing, the seasoned entertainer will show off a variety of extravagant costumes designed by Balmain. This, along with state-of-the-art lighting, video, and special effects, makes for one unforgettable experience.

The Former The Voice Coach Awaits Fourth Child

In the midst of all this success, the blessings keep rolling in. The 42-year-old performer is expecting his fourth child and second with girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea. Their first child together, Sovereign, was born in September 2020. The singer also shares two sons, Usher V and Navid, with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Goicoechea debuted her baby bump alongside Usher at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards in May. The singer also commented on how his other children have been adjusting to the growing family.

“Man, my boys are really enjoying having another girl in the house,” Usher told ET. “Me and Jenn are very, very happy to celebrate this period in life. Sovereign was really, like, the silver lining for us [in the pandemic], and for a lot of people who had new babies this year.”

It seems like Usher is riding the highs of life at the moment. A successful show and Las Vegas, and a new baby on the way, the blessings don’t get better than that. You can purchase tickets for his performances now through January 2022. A limited number of VIP meet and greet packages are also available for each show.
