Adele Celebrates Her Birthday with a Makeup-Free Photo

Adele is celebrating her 33rd birthday, and she marked the occasion by posting a beautiful makeup-free photo of herself on Instagram, along with a few other fun snaps.
Many fans wished the singer a happy birthday, while others wanted to know when they can expect her next album. Adele has been mostly laying low in recent months, although she has teased new music for a while now.
Adele Posts Makeup-Free Birthday Photo
Adele is turning 33 years old this year. She posted a series of three photos on Instagram to celebrate, captioning the post, “Thirty Free.” The first picture is a black and white image of the singer with seemingly no makeup on. Her long hair cascades down her back as she smiles and looks off camera.
The second photo depicts Adele going for a swim. She wears a bright bathing suit and holds her arms up in the air with her back to the camera. In the third photo, the star turns toward the camera with her hair and dress swinging around her.
A number of fans wished the star a happy birthday, while others commented on how beautiful she looks in the photos. But there were also some commenters who made it clear they’re waiting for Adele to announce her new album. It’s been almost six years since her last release, so they’re getting antsy.

When Is Adele’s New Album Coming Out?
In October of last year, Adele hosted Saturday Night Live. However, she didn’t perform as the musical guest, instead leaving that honor to H.E.R. During her monologue on the show, she explained why she chose not to perform, and hinted at new music.
“There’s a couple of reasons,” she said of her host-only gig. “My album’s not finished. I’m also too scared to do both. I’d rather just put on some wigs … have a glass of wine, or six, and just see what happens.”
We don’t know for sure when to expect the new album, but fans are holding out hope that it will be released sometime this year. As for the title, Adele previously said that she’s done naming albums after her age, and she would like to title the next one simply Adele.
