Why Kelly Clarkson Doesn’t Plan To Remarry After Divorce

Kelly Clarkson is currently in the midst of a divorce from Brandon Blackstock, and she’s not sure if she’ll ever get married again. The Voice coach recently talked to Gwyneth Paltrow about her experience.
During an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Gwyneth shared how she found love again after her divorce. Read on to find out what Kelly said about her own feelings.
Will Kelly Clarkson Remarry After Divorce?
Gwyneth Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. After their divorce, she remarried producer Brad Falchuk. Kelly pointed out that they’ve been married for over two years now.

“Coming from someone who’s literally amidst a divorce, I can’t even imagine doing it again,” Kelly said. “So that’s amazing that you found love and you found the space and the vulnerability … to say yes and do it again.”
Gwyneth said it was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” adding that she learned lessons from her divorce. “You will have it again, Kelly,” she said. “It just takes time.”
Kelly said she’s in a place of “dating yourself again,” adding, “You actually make time for you again. And I love dating me, so I’m actually not looking for it.”
Gwyneth Paltrow Gives Kelly Co-Parenting Advice
Kelly also asked Gwyneth about co-parenting her kids with ex-husband Chris Martin. “Co-parenting can be very difficult,” Kelly said, “because I think divorce is hard on people, but it’s hardest on the kids.”

“We made a commitment early on to be a family, even though we weren’t a couple,” Gwyneth said, “which sounds weird and impossible, but we worked with a therapist who was amazing at helping us communicate.”
She added that she and Chris “wanted the divorce to impact the kids as little as possible.” Gwyneth also talked to people with divorced parents to learn about their experience, and everyone told her that they wanted their parents to be friends.
Kelly was awarded primary physical custody of her children with Brandon Blackstock, but she recently admitted that it’s been “tough” to co-parent, since she and Brandon live in different places.
