‘The Voice’ Season 15 Blind Auditions By The Numbers

The Blind Auditions for season 15 of The Voice have come to an end! That means Adam, Kelly, Jennifer, and Blake all have their teams filled and the Battles have begun! After Blinds filled with Shevine bromance, fights over country artists between Kelly and Blake, Kelly and JHud fights fit for a “slumber party,” and even some shoe throwing, the teams are now set.Â
So we’re taking a look at the Blind Auditions by the numbers! We’ll see how many artists each coach turned for, how many of those artists landed on their teams, how many times each coach were blocked, which coach ended up with the most artists each coach also turned for, and how many chairs were turned for their artists throughout the Blinds.

But What Does It Mean?!
By the numbers, it’s hard to say who had the “best” Blind Auditions. But it is clear that Jennifer Hudson had the least successful run! She turned her chair a whopping 32 times to fill her team of 12. Plus, she ended up with SEVEN one-chair turners on her team. To put that into perspective, that is the second most one-chair turners on any team in any season of The Voice behind CeeLo’s team in season 3, which had nine. Last time Jennifer was on the show, she had four one-chair turners. Wow. That being said, if you look at the talent on her team, it tells a much different story. JHud has standouts like Kennedy Holmes and Patrique Fortson. And remember, she was blocked from two artists who probably would’ve joined her team, RADHA and Kymberli Joye. So hope it not lost for JHud!
On the other end of the spectrum, Adam only had six artists not pick him when he turned. Kelly was second with 11.Kelly also has the most 3-chair turners on her team with 5 AND she took the most artists from both Blake and JHud. Her team also had the most chair-turns total with 27. But Adam was close behind with 26! And Blake was right on their heels with 25. He also had the most two-chair turners on his team, never got blocked, and took the most artists from both Kelly and Adam.
So all that being said, it’s really anyone’s game after the Blind Auditions!
