EXCLUSIVE: ‘The Four’ Winner James Graham Claps Back At Shade from Elijah Connor AKA Diddy Stare-Down Meme Guy

James Graham vs ElijahKyle Montplaisir | Talent Recap

Elijah Connor, a contestant on season two of The Four who became famous for the meme of him staring down Diddy, recently threw major shade at the show’s winner James Graham. But now, James is clapping back.

Elijah Connor Throws Shade

This all started when Elijah Connor interviewed with the BET show, “I Went Viral.” He talked about the meme of his stare-down with Diddy going viral and the fact that producers made him mention he’s Prince’s cousin. Elijah said he looked at Diddy like “are you serious?!” after singing and getting no votes to challenge. He claimed he was shocked and just couldn’t believe what was happening. When he eventually has a chance to react verbally, he decides to just thank the judges for letting him perform.

But Elijah also threw major shade at The Four winner James Graham. At one point in the video (3:22 in), he says:

“I think God meant for that to happen because, can you tell me who the winner was? I’ll wait…exactly. No one knows, no one knows.”

James Graham’s Response

So clearly Elijah Connor is claiming that it worked out because he’s more famous now than James Graham, who won the show. Well, word got back to James and he is clapping right back. The singer had some choice words for his fellow contestant on The Four.

Here’s the statement James made to Talent Recap exclusively:

“You know, I really don’t need to respond to comments like that from someone who is so low level of important in my life. He’s just salty because he didn’t even get a challenge haha. I’ll let myself and my music do the talking. I wish him the best of luck.”
