Kelly Clarkson, Lauren Alaina, and More Perform on ‘Christmas at the Opry’

On Thursday night, NBC aired Christmas at the Opry, a holiday special featuring performances from Nashville’s iconic Grande Ole Opry. Wynonna Judd hosted the show, which included appearances from Kelly Clarkson, Lauren Alaina, and more.
Kelly Clarkson, Lauren Alaina Perform on Christmas at the Opry
During Thursday’s show, former The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson took the stage to perform her Christmas song “Underneath the Tree.” Clarkson wore an off-the-shoulder black dress with a full tulle skirt for the performance. As expected, she hit some incredible notes.
Clarkson also took the stage with host Judd to perform “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” For this performance, she donned a sparkly green gown, while Judd wore a bedazzled black suit. Judd, who was this season’s Mega Mentor on The Voice, said in a preview that this was her first time meeting Clarkson. As she said, “It’s about freakin’ time.”
Thursday’s show also featured performances from American Idol Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina. The singer delivered a fun rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock,” while wearing a feathery green dress. Alaina also gave a sultry performance of “Santa Baby,” while wearing a one-shoulder black gown.

Who Else Performed on the Special?
Thursday’s Christmas at the Opry special featured performances from a number of famous names. That includes Trace Adkins, who performed “The Christmas Song.” Meanwhile, Brenda Lee was also on hand to sing her iconic hit “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
Other performers included Mitchell Tenpenny, Adam Doleac, Chris Janson, Chrissy Metz, and BRELAND. Host Judd also delivered several solo performances, of songs such as “Mary, Did You Know?,” “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” and “O Holy Night.”
