Cam Anthony

Cam Anthony became a household name after auditioning for The Voice with the song “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith. He earned a three chair turn and went on to continue his success throughout the competition.

Anthony was raised singing in a church choir and even performed in Folgers Coffee commercials. In 2013, he became a YouTube star at the age of eleven. His covers of “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars, “Royals” by Lorde, and more went viral. In 2014 he performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” for Barack Obama and appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He signed with Dr. Dre’s label, Aftermath Entertainment at 14 years old, but never released an album with them.

Anthony departed from the label in 2020 the day he got an email about The Voice blind auditions. He hasn’t released any original music since winning The Voice in 2021.
