Ariana Grande Supports Rumored Boyfriend Ethan Slater at ‘Spamalot’ Preview

Ariana Grande attended the first preview performance of the Spamalot revival on Broadway earlier this week. This is notable since Grande’s rumored boyfriend Ethan Slater is starring in the production.

An attendee at Tuesday’s performance of Spamalot at the St. James Theatre in New York City posted an Instagram video of Grande in the audience. She can be seen clapping as confetti rains down. Grande was also photographed outside the theater with her friend Doug Middlebrook.
A source told People that Grande is a “big supporter” of the musical and “already has plans to go again.” They added that the pop star also saw the production during tech rehearsals. Slater stars in the production as The Historian/Prince Herbert.
“She was so sweet last night, taking pictures with fans and gushing about how much she was enjoying the performances,” the source said. “She’s a theater kid at her core, so you see she really feels at peace being around Broadway.”
Grande and Slater appear together in the upcoming two-part movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked. Grande stars as Glinda, while Slater plays Boq. Neither of them has confirmed their romance, although rumors have been swirling about them for months.

The Two Are Keeping Quiet About Their Rumored Romance

Meanwhile, Grande has reportedly asked her friends not to talk to the media about her personal life until both she and Slater are officially divorced. A source said that Grande’s Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo is in “an uncomfortable situation,” as she reportedly witnessed the start of their relationship on set.
