Adam Levine Secretly Wants Kelly Clarkson To Win ‘The Voice’

We give Adam Levine a lot of crap. On the one hand, we love Adam. He’s a great guy I would love to have a beer with. But sometimes his coaching on The Voice is…a bit off. He’s only won a handful of times and usually is beaten by Blake. This year he thinks he’s probably going to lose. We think so too. So, who does he want to win? Kelly Clarkson.
Adam appeared on the Ellen show partly due to the fact that Ellen is a big fan of the show. Adam started off by half-heartedly, timidly saying,
“I will win. For me to say I have any clue at this point, because I’ve seen so many different scenarios, I honestly have no idea. But I hope it’s me, our team.”
He totally didn’t mean it. He’s been doing this long enough to know. Then he told what he really thinks,
“I kind of, in a weird way, wouldn’t mind if Kelly Clarkson won. First of all, I love her to pieces — don’t you love her so much? It’d be cool if she kind of came in first season and just like, boom. That’s what I did.”
Kelly might win. Alicia might win. Adam…no way.
