YouTuber Corey La Barrie Killed In Car Crash On His 25th Birthday — ‘Ink Master’ Star To Be Arrested For His Murder
YouTube On Sunday, May 10th, Correy La Barrie was a passenger in the car of Ink Master star Daniel Silva before it struck a street sign. La Barrie was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The pair were riding in a McLaren sports car and Silva is said to have been speeding while under the influence.
Corey La Barrie And Daniel Silva Were Coming From A Birthday Party
To celebrate La Barrie’s birthday, the pair reportedly attended a party in Los Angeles. Witnesses say that they saw Silva drinking alcohol before leaving the party. Their car was said to be driving at high speeds and hit a tree after hitting a street sign. Silva did not suffer any life-threatening injuries other than a broken hip. He was also taken to the hospital.
La Barrie’s mother posted on Instagram that her son was killed instantly. “My heart breaks right now, on my son’s 25 birthday today… The accident killed him instantly.” His brother Jarrad also posted an emotional tribute to him on Instagram. He wrote, “This isn’t something I thought I would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what I wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving.” Here Jarad confirmed that Silva was in fact, drunk. He will be arrested for murder after being discharged from the hospital according to a recent report from TMZ.
Jarrad added, “this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do I don’t how I’m supposed to do this without you I miss you so much already this isn’t fair thank you for always being the best big brother I could ask for I love you so fucking much life’s never gonna be the same without you R.I.P❤️ P.S say hi to grandad and grandma for me I love you.” This is absolutely heartbreaking and devastating for a family to go through.

The YouTuber Warned That He & His Friends Would Be Drinking
La Barrie also posted one final YouTube video right before his death. It was titled “Deleting This Video In 24 Hours….” It was a super short 47-second video where he spoke about his birthday. He was announcing that he would be doing a live stream on Twitch with his roommates. In the video, La Barrie said: “We might get a little bit drunk.” It is clear that alcohol drinking began earlier in the day for La Barrie, his friends and roommates.
The top comment on the video says “the fact that he said ‘we might get a little bit drunk’ was his last words to us and he died in a case of drunk driving breaks my heart! RIP Corey.” Another YouTube comment said, “The fact he won’t even be able to delete this now, rest easy Corey.”
People Began Paying Their Respects For The Star On Social Media
Corey’s friends also posted their disbelief on social media. Singer Rebecca Black said “oh god…this makes me incredibly sad. Corey La Barrie was always kind and knew how to lift people up. always brightened my day when i saw him. his friends really loved him so much, and i am so sorry to them, his family, and his supporters.”
TikTok star Carter Reynolds said “I can’t believe I’m saying this right now… I feel like I’m in a bad dream… Rest In Peace @coreylabarrie. You were such a bright spirit and a beautiful soul. You’ll be missed brother.” He then put out a second tweet saying “PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.”
YouTuber Elijah Daniel said, “holy f*ck, I don’t even know what to say.. rip @coreylabarrie, you were the class clown and I had so much fun on reality house with you this is f*cking stupid I hate this.” The pair were on season one of the hit YouTube show Reality House.
YouTuber FaZe Kay said “Never take this life for granted, who knows what’s going to happen tomorrow. Rest in peace Corey La Barrie.”
