You Won’t Believe What This Acrobatic Couple Can Do On ‘BGT’ [VIDEO]

We’ve seen plenty of acrobatic acts on AGT and BGT over the years, but nothing quite like Dust in the Wind. The couple, originally from Cuba, blew the judges away during last year’s competition.

The duo showed off moves you have to see to believe. Check out their audition below, and read on to find out what the judges thought of their incredible talent.

Julio, 27, and Maite, 23, shared that they were a couple. When asked if they were married, Julio answered, “Not yet,” leading to aws from the audience. They called BGT “the best TV show in the world.”

Before their audition, Julio emphasized how “dangerous” their routine was, saying he “could really hurt the woman I love.” He joked that if they won the show, they would get married, making Maite laugh.

The pair went on to perform a routine to “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. At one point, Maite balanced upside down with her hand on Julio’s head. Later, they performed a similar move, only this time Maite balanced on her head, with no hands to support her, as Julio did a split and then stood up again.

What Has Dust In The Wind Been Up To?

The judges gave the couple a standing ovation for their performance. “We have seen some other acrobatics acts, but we haven’t seen them in such a beautiful, romantic setting as the one you just did,” David Walliams said, commenting on their “connection.”

Simon Cowell, meanwhile, said the couple had “great chemistry,” and complimented their song choice, as he’s a huge fan of The Greatest Showman. All four judges voted yes to send Dust in the Wind through.

Unfortunately, Dust in the Wind didn’t make it to the semifinals of BGT 2019. However, they’ve also brought their amazing talent to the Germany’s Got Talent and France’s Got Talent stages.

You can follow the pair on TikTok, where they have over 12,000 followers. They frequently post amazing acrobatics moves, as well as fun dance routines.
