Christian Burrows Auditions For ‘X Factor’
Christian said he was inspired by Ed Sheeran, and told the judges that he writes his own songs. Simon requested to hear one of them, so Christian said he would perform a song he wrote for his brother, who passed away when he was young. “Only my mum has ever heard it,” he said.
Christian played guitar while he performed. “Until we meet again, stay safe, my friend. And I will keep you in my thoughts to the very end,” he sang of his brother. Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger had tears in their eyes.
“You got me,” Nicole told him. Louis Walsh told Christian that it was “a very honest audition.” Sharon told him it was “a very beautiful song,” adding that he’s “very pure in what you do.” Simon said Christian was “brave” for sharing that song, and told him he has “a real talent.”
Christian earned four “yes” votes from the judges to move on. When he got the news, his friends and family ran into the audition room to give him a group hug. Christian said Simon’s comment meant “the world” to him.
