‘X Factor’ Champ Dalton Harris Forced To Leave The UK

Dalton Harris stole the hearts of many and won The X Factor UK over the weekend. The star should be on cloud 9, but he may have to leave the UK sooner than he thought.
Harris will be forced to return to his hometown of Jamaica in just a matter of days. Since Harris isn’t a UK citizen he received a visa that allowed him to participate for the duration of the competition.
Now that the competition has ended, Harris must pack his bags and head home. Fans are up in arms over the situation because this could potentially affect Harris’s album release. It could also prevent the singer from performing in the upcoming X Factor tour. Isn’t there something that ITV can do about this? We sure hope so!
Harris told The Sun, “I need to get a new visa. I will have to leave the UK for a bit as you’re not allowed to just stay for ever.” BUT YOU JUST WON A HUGE COMPETITION.
The-24-year-old added, “I had a visa that allowed me to compete in the show, so I’d be surprised if the government didn’t give me one now I have won.” So would we!
Harris has been very candid and transparent with fans about his tough upbringing. The powerhouse was raised in poverty and was 1 of 22 siblings. Lacking a relationship with his parents Harris did whatever he could to get by.
Things are seriously about to change for this talented performer as he is set to be signed to Simon Cowells label Syco, which is owned by Sony. Simon being the mogul that he is HAS to step in to ensure that things run smoothly for Harris.
Over 7.5 million people tuned in to witness the singers crowning, which is definitely worth something!
