Why Isn’t ‘The Voice’ On TV Tonight? What’s On Instead?
If you watched The Voice on Monday night, you might have been surprised to see that the next episode of the show isn’t for another week. The show aired on both Monday and Tuesday last week, so what’s up?
Read on to find out what NBC is airing tonight instead of The Voice, and what the schedule looks like going into next week’s blind auditions.
What’s On Instead Of ‘The Voice’ Tonight?
Although we’ll miss seeing our favorite coaches and listening to amazing auditions, there’s some pretty important programming on NBC instead. Today is Super Tuesday, as voters in fourteen U.S. states cast their votes in the primary elections.
NBC will air coverage of these Super Tuesday results starting at 8 pm. If you’d rather get your Tuesday-night Voice fix, you can always rewatch last night’s episode on the NBC website, or check out the audition clips in our recap of the show.
When Is ‘The Voice’ On Next?
As advertised after Monday night’s new episode, The Voice will return next Monday, March 9, on NBC. However, if you’re expecting to watch it Tuesday, March 10, we have some bad news for you.
According to the NBC schedule, The Voice won’t air next Tuesday either. Instead, the network will show Ellen’s Game of Games, followed by This Is Us. The schedule doesn’t go any further, but The Voice Twitter page tells fans to watch “Mondays 8/7c.” So for the forseeable future, it looks like we’ll only be getting one episode per week.
Of course, once the live shows begin, that’s sure to change. What will you be watching instead of The Voice tonight? Let us know in the comments.
