The Masked Singer Season Seven Premieres With Format Changes
The seventh season of his series is in full swing on FOX. It’s still pretty early in the competition since only two celebrities have been unmasked so far. McTerrier was revealed as Duff Goldman, while Ram was revealed as Joe Buck.
Along with a new season comes various new surprises. This season of The Masked Singer features three groups and no wildcard singers. Members from the Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly take to the stage weekly in the current competition. Unlike prior seasons, the singers have been split into multiple rounds. These rounds make it so one set of singers will compete until only one remains for the finale.
I don’t foresee this format getting boring in future episodes since the rounds are so short (round one was three episodes). I believe that this format makes the most sense for viewers since fans love to play the game along with the panelists. This new format is so much better since clues aren’t just thrown at the viewer. If you’re like me, you always forget which clue goes with which masked celebrity.
