A Four-Chair Turn is the highest honor you can get on The Voice. It means each of the coaches want you on their team, and they’re willing to fight for you. I don’t know about you, but I seriously can’t wait to see more of this show. Not only does this season have great performers, there are some pretty great mentors for the contestants. Jason Aldean, Camila Cabello, Kristin Chenoweth, and Dierks Bentley will all mentor. Ed Sheeran will also appear as the Mega Mentor during the knockout rounds this season.
Ed Sheeran is the Season 21 Mega Mentor
Not only was The Voice able to get a large name like Ariana Grande to coach, they were able to get Ed Sheeran as well. Sheeran is known for his popular hits “Thinking out Loud,” “The A Team,” “Bad Habits,” and others. He became a worldwide hit after performing “The A Team” on Later… with Jools Holland on BBC. After this performance, his single sold 58,000 copies in the first week and became a top ten hit in eight countries.
Not only is Sheeran a great singer himself, he has also written songs for artists like Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Rita Ora. Since he’s written music for other artists in different genres, he could be considered quite versatile for the series. I’m excited to see how he’ll do!
