The first season of Clash of the Cover Bands airs tonight on E! Each episode focuses on two cover bands that are battling head to head for the chance to win $10,000. At the end of the season, the winning band of the series will take home $25,000.

The hardest part of any competition show is deciding which songs, or in this instance bands, you should cover. We’ve done the work for you in the creation of this quiz. Answer a few short questions and we’ll tell you which band you should cover on Clash of the Cover Bands.

A Quick Run Through of Clash of the Cover Bands

This series seriously feels like it sprung up out of nowhere and is now all over online advertisements. Clash of the Cover Bands was originally announced in late May and plenty of people thought it was too good to be true. Now that it’s actually around the corner, let’s touch on what we’ll see in the series.

The first season of Clash of the Cover Bands features 20 contestants. They’re all fighting for the $25,000 prize and the chance to perform on The Jimmy Fallon Show. The shows all star panel features American Idol star Adam Lambert, “All About that Bass” singer Meghan Trainor, and producer of NBC’s Songland Ester Dean. The host of this series is Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Most people know him as the DJ on The Ellen Degeneres Show. If you’ve seen The Ellen Degeneres Show you know just how great of a personality he has.

I cannot wait to see how great this show actually is once it premieres. It has the possibility to do so well given the nature of this competition. Given the death of the X Factor, there really hasn’t been another primarily music talent show targeted toward musical groups.
