American Idol Announces Top 24 Artists
The series announced their Top 24 singers of the season during the end of the showstopper round on Monday night. Fans were happy to see many artists like Nicolina continue on to the Top 24. Nicolina absolutely killed “Rolling in The Deep” during her final judgement solo and was sent directly into the Top 24. This singer has gained traction since her early release duets challenge with AGT alum, Christian Guardino.
Other than Nicolina, fans of American Idol are showing their support for 19 year old Noah Thompson. In the showstopper round, he put a spin on “Stay” by Rihanna. Instead of singing the track normally, Noah put a country spin on it. While this could’ve been seen as a risky move, many fans are saying this cover won the show for him.
The remaining 24 singers will be seen in the next episode of American Idol, airing on Sunday, April 10. At the end of the two night premiere, four singers will face elimination.
