You can currently audition to be a part of the next season of American Idol. Any one interested in auditioning for Idol can visit their website to sign up for a live virtual Idol Across America audition time. You can choose to partake in Zoom with show producers or submit a video submission instead.
Zoom Virtual Auditions Conclude on September 8
The only restriction is that you must be 15 years of age or older before the audition dates begin. The website states that you must be born between June 2, 1992 and September 15, 2006 to participate in this year of American Idol.
Future contestants can register on American Idol‘s website to participate in the upcoming season. Once registered, contestants will receive an email with a Zoom meeting to join. Participants can also choose to sign up the day of their virtual audition.
All zoom audition attendees should have two to three songs prepared. This round of auditions will not be in front of the celebrity judges, only the show producers.
All auditions will be recorded and could be used as promotional content, so be sure to look your best the day of your audition!
