When Will ‘AGT Champions’ Season 2 Premiere?

It’s now been a couple of months since America’s Got Talent Season 14 ended, which means we’re getting pretty close to the premiere of the second season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions! And that time feels even closer now that we know the official date the season will begin!
The Countdown is On!
Last week, the AGT: Champions premiere date was finally announced!
It’s official: Season 2 will premiere on Monday, January 6, 2020! Much like last season, it’s looking as though the show will air on Mondays throughout the winter, as opposed to Tuesdays (and later Wednesdays as well) which is when its parent program airs during the summer months.
What Else Do We Know?
We don’t yet have a promo ad or any video footage from Season 2 of Champions, but there are a few things we do know about it. Terry Crews will host as he did this past year, and the judging panel will consist of Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, along with Britain’s Got Talent regular Alesha Dixon. They – along with the notorious “Superfans” from all across America will determine who makes it past each round. If you want to know how AGT voting differs AGT: The Champions Click here!
As for the actual acts, we allegedly speculate that Season 14 finalists V Unbeatable – who finished the season in fourth place – are coming back, reigning champion Kodi Lee is not, and that once again, Got Talent alumni from all around the world will participate in the competition. Kodi Lee not participating in the season means that, unlike last season with Shin Lim, we definitely won’t see a back-to-back AGT and Champions victory.
