We’re not kidding! Simon Cowell and his son, Eric are making the most of their father-son relationship, bringing their talent to a major Hollywood production. Cowell announced on Instagram recently that the two of them will star in the upcoming Scooby Doo film.

We can expect 6-year-old Eric to take on the voice of Ben in the movie and Cowell to play himself, which will come as no surprise to anyone that understands Simon’s ego.
“I watched Scooby Doo as a kid and now I’m thrilled to be watching it again with my son Eric. So when we got asked to be in the new Scooby Doo movie ‘@SCOOB!’, it was the quickest yes I’ve ever said,” Simon captioned his Instagram post. “We never really got to find out how Scooby and Shaggy met the rest of the gang and now we do. It’s brilliant and what’s more brilliant is that you will be able to watch it at home on May 15,” wrote Cowell when announcing the exciting new project on Instagram.
