Let’s face it, we have seen some pretty bad acts hit America’s Got Talent stage. But never anything like this before. Serban Cioca came onto the stage with an infectious personality and a love for the show. His original song absolutely shocked the judges and not in a good way making this one of the worst acts of all time. Take a look at this cringe-fest that Simon Cowell ended up hating.

Serban Cioca Brought His Big Personality To ‘America’s Got Talent’

Serban truly brought a fun personality to the stage and seemed like the friendliest guy ever. He literally ran onto the stage out of excitement. He said that he has been dancing and performing in front of the television but Simon Cowell never responded. Simon definitely got a kick out of that. But now they finally got to meet. “I’m from your favorite country Simon, Romania” Serban declared. Guest judge Eric Stonestreet said, “Romanian people are so nice.” When Simon asked why Serban decided to enter America’s Got Talent he gave such a heartfelt answer that made everyone fall in love with him even more. “I’m very creative and I want to give out love and make people happy and I think this is an amazing platform to do it,” Serban said before the audience erupted in cheers. “What a nice thing to say,” Simon said obviously touched by Serban’s words.

Perhaps the best part of the performance was Serban saying that if he wins America’s Got Talent, he will take Simon to Goodwill. He wants to brighten up Simon’s wardrobe with some colorful t-shirts since we all know Simon loves wearing black, grey and white. Eric predicted that the performance would be good, and we have to say that Serban really sold us with his personality. But what happened next was truly a disaster.

This Was The Worst Performance Ever On ‘AGT’ According To Simon

Original songs are always a risk to perform on America’s Got Talent and we know that Simon is always very blunt when someone sings an original song. The secret to a good original song is telling a story. Serban’s original song definitely did not do that. At first, he was singing about chocolate and then singing about archipelagos and people were shocked. Based on his personality, he seemed like he would deliver a good performance but he did quite the opposite. The audience began booing as Serban continued his horrible song. It was the chorus of “la la la” that really set the judges off. “He forgot the words,” said Howie Mandel. Simon had enough and gave him a big red X. Sofia and Howie soon followed suit.

When it came time for the critiques Simon said it was “honestly the worst song we’ve ever had on the show.” Howie said that he gave Serban an X because he forgot the words. Serban retorted and said that “la la la” was actually the words of the song. Serban pleaded for another chance to sing for the judges but Simon said that he could not listen to another 30 seconds of that. Eric is the only judge that did not buzz the act and he said “it’s one of my favorite things I’ve seen.” Eric truly is hilarious. Not surprisingly, Serban got four no’s from the judges and will not be moving on in the competition. But, he continuously posts videos on YouTube begging the judges for another chance.

Do you think this was the worst act ever to perform on America’s Got Talent? Do you think the judges should give Serban a second chance?
