Remember the hypnotic dog on Britain’s Got Talent that left the entire audience and judges mesmerized? Well, it turns out the whole performance was completely fake! Here’s all the details plus how Krystyna Lennon managed to fool Simon Cowell on ‘BGT‘.

How this act managed to fool Simon Cowell on ‘BGT’

Let’s just say this was a risky act to pull off… it really all comes down to the famous ‘placebo effect’! Here’s what the contestant had to say about it all:

‘It’s not fair to string everybody along and let them believe she has super powers when she doesn’t have any. It’s not that Princess has powers – she’s just an ordinary dog – it’s that people believe she has powers.

SIMON COWELL CRIES FOR THE FIRST TIME ON AIR, LIVE!

Simon was never really hypnotised by this cute little puppy, he just thought he was which left him feeling rather sleepy. What’s really embarrassing about all this is that Cowell said that he thought the act was ‘100 percent real’!

‘It’s 100 per cent real. I was feeling sleepy and then fell asleep,’ he explained. ‘It’s almost like your brain tells you to do something which you shouldn’t be doing but you just go along with it. The next thing is, you’ve actually fallen asleep.’

SIMON COWELL GOES TO WAR WITH LITTLE MIX AHEAD OF NEW SHOW ‘THE BAND’

Simon isn’t the only one to fall for the trick

This act is global! These audience members were also fooled by the dog on the Chinese show, ‘Challenge Impossible’. We have our suspicions though… how is it that every time this trick is pulled, the ‘victims’ react in the exact same way? Are the ones being hypnotised in on it? Here’s another clip to prove our suspicions.

WATCH Howie Mandel on ‘AGT’ get hypnotized

Hypnotism is quite the skill to learn and this act STILL amazes us! America’s Got Talent judge, Howie Mandel (the king of Golden Buzzers!) was hypnotised into being able to shake hands with the judges. Now, this may sound rather ordinary but Howie never shakes hands, never! The act left not only the judges but America is amazement! The viral clip now has over 10 million hits on YouTube.

BGT returns to our screens early 2020 on ITV.

Simon Cowell’s brand new show, ‘X Factor: The Band’ starts December 9th on ITV.
