WATCH Heidi Klum Talk About Having Coronavirus Symptoms Like “Fever and Cough” But Not Getting Testing Kit

It turns out Heidi Klum might actually have coronavirus after all. She’s been absent from tapings of AGT this week, due to what sources were calling a “common cold.” However, the supermodel has now updated fans on her Instagram account.
Heidi’s illness had bad timing, as the cornavirus outbreak was named a pandemic by the World Health Organization, and celebrities like Tom Hanks were tested positive. Read on to find out what Heidi said about her symptoms.
Heidi Klum Talks About Possible Coronavirus
Heidi posted an Instagram story Friday morning from her bed. She said her symptoms started with “a chill, feeling feverish, cough, runny nose.” Coughing and fever are two symptoms of coronavirus.
The AGT judge said she’s chosen to stay home so as not to infect other people. She added that she hopes it’s “just a cold,” but would “love to do the corona test.” However, it’s not that simple.
Heidi says she’s tried to get the test from two different doctors, but wasn’t able to. “Stay safe, everyone. Stay home if you don’t feel good,” Heidi told fans to close the video.
‘AGT’ Films Without A Live Audience
Due to Heidi’s illness, Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet filled in for her as a judge on Wednesday. While shows like Jeopardy! and The Ellen DeGeneres show opted to film without an audience, AGT continued to have a crowd for their tapings.
However, the show has now opted to continue filming without a live studio audience, due to concern about the coronavirus. Considering what we now know about Heidi’s illness, that seems like an especially good idea.
