WATCH Candian Singer Deliver The Most Stunning Vocals Ever On ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’
Medical student Tara Jamieson made a huge splash on Ireland’s Got Talent in 2019. The Canadian singer moved to Dublin looking to one day become a pediatrician. But her love for music truly made everyone believe that she would be one incredible singing doctor someday. Check out her stunning audition below.
Tara Jamieson Stunned Everyone With Her Voice On ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’
Tara sat at the piano and hilariously hit a few keys to make sure that it works. She launched in to a gorgeous song that showcased every ounce of her sheer musical talent. Not only is Tara absolutely gorgeous, but her voice rivals some of the biggest names in the music industry. The audience went wild as she hit an array of difficult notes throughout the performance.
At the end of the song, her angelic tone had everyone’s jaws on the floor. The audience and the judges launched into roaring applause for this young talent. “Tara, that’s the way to do a perfect audition,” judge Louis Walsh said once the crowd settled down. “The song, the voice, the tone, the control, the piano, the face everything was perfect.”
Judge Jason Byrne called Tara’s performance “flawless” and said that he got lost in her voice in the best way possible. “Really, really beautiful and I love the way that you were singing to us,” Michelle Visage said. “You were into the music but you were actually singing to us and I really appreciate that it was really lovely.” Denise van Outen agreed that Tara’s audition was incredible.
It was a no-brainer when all four judges voted to send Tara into the next round of the competition. She performed another amazing song in the Semi-Finals but was eliminated from the competition. It was a dance group called BS that later went on to win the competition.
Where Is Tara Now?
After appearing on Ireland’s Got Talent Tara began posting frequently on her own YouTube channel. “I make weekly videos in a series called ‘Tunes with Tara’ where I post a new song each week,” Tara told Talent Recap exclusively. “I also post periodic updates about medical school with plans for more videos in the new year.”
“It is a very busy schedule and it takes a lot of work to make sure that everything is kept in balance” she continued. “For me, it is about recognizing my priorities and making sure that I am completing tasks in a ‘triaged’ way. Medicine comes first, my future patients need to come first; however, I wouldn’t be entirely happy if I didn’t have music in my life to take the stress away.”
She recently released a single called “Let Go” which is available on all streaming platforms. In between pursuing her budding music career, she finished her first OBGYN exam and rotation. She will be graduating from med school in 2022.
“I set aside time each week to make music” she continued. “This way I know that I have to get my school work done in order to get to my music time. It’s always a balance, and sometimes something has to give, but it works for now.”
“I have plans for more singles of original music to come out in the new year, so make sure you’ve followed me on my socials to get the latest updates!” Tara added.
Tara definitely has had to find a balance between pursuing medicine and music at the same time. We admire her for following all of her dreams and completely slaying her Ireland’s Got Talent performances.
