Blake Shelton is joining forces with Pitt Bull and making his rap debut. Sounds weird right? Although rap and country are two genres that really shouldn’t collide, it’s reminded us why Shelton is on The Voice. He’s a musical genius!
Pitt Bull spoke on the collaboration by comparing to one of the most iconic music collaborations. “This to me is like when Run-DMC and Aerosmith did ‘Walk This Way”, the rapper said.

Fan reaction are mixed but what we can say is die hard Shelton fans are finding this to be a little cheap. One said in a tweet: ‘Get Ready is the most embarrassing thing Blake Shelton has ever done’.

‘The Voice’ returns this February!
The Voice returns to our screens at the end of the month with a brand new judge. Yes, it’s none other than Nick Jonas! In an interview with USA Today, the award winning singer said:
“I was so excited to join this season as a coach of ‘The Voice. I’m having fun on set, and I think people are going to have fun watching at home.”
